This page is dedicated as a student resource for the composition activities in the school year. To complete the composition assignments, all students must do the following:
• Understand the music notation system,
• Download one copy of each, the Rhythm Composition Sheet and the Melody Composition Sheet,
• Use only LINE ONE during the first trimester,
• Decide how many measures the compositions will be for both rhythm and melody,
• For lyrics, figure out how many syllables are required, then,
• Write down your ideas on the Rhythm Composition Sheet and the Melody Composition Sheet, and,
• Turn in your finished compositions on or before the due date.
